Spill stores your groups, expenses, receipts and account on a server, and which server is up to you. It can be one you run, one a friend runs, or Spill Cloud. The people who run a server can see the data on it, so only join servers you trust.
The Spill app keeps your sign-in on your device in secure storage and a read-only copy of recent groups so they open offline. Signing out removes that copy. The app does not include advertising or analytics.
Spill sends no email. Your email address is used only as an account name on the server you sign in to.
You can delete your account from the app’s Settings screen. This removes your account on that server; your name may remain in other people’s ledgers as a plain name.
Spill Cloud Pro: if you buy or are given Pro, we keep your account email against that plan so the server can tell it is active. Payments are handled by the App Store, Google Play or our payment provider; we never see your card number.
Your use of Spill is also covered by the Terms of Service; plans are on the Pricing page.
